Jess was at her locker getting her lunch bag for lunch (because she did NOT trust that cafeteria food...) when a guy came up. He put his elbow on the locker beside hers, and said,"Hey sweets. How's it going?"Jess sighed and put on an extremely fake smile,"Hi, Austin. It's going great, thanks for asking." Why does he have to be all creepy stalker all the time?!
"I was wondering if you wanted to have lunch together."
"I'm sorry Austin, but I'm sitting with my friends. Maybe later." She said as she pushed past him trying to escape.
"Oh, that's to bad, 'cause I had this really hilarious joke I wanted to tell you and-"
"Well maybe some other time. Bye Austin." She walked down the hall and outside the whole time thinking Please don't follow me. Please don't follow me. Please don't follow me... She tried to calmly walk over to Alice and Carrie. They always sat with their backs against a brick wall.
"Hey guys." She said to them.
"Well you sound like you're in a sour mood! What happened?" Alice asked.
"It's just Austin."
Carrie and Alice looked at each other and giggled.
"What?!"
Carrie grinned and while Alice laughed, she replied,"He is SO in love with you!"
"And what's more, he doesn't even try to hide it!" Alice said to her.
"You think I LIKE him!??!!!?!?!?!"
Alice grinned,"Obviously not. You can tell by your facial expressions every single time he comes up to talk to you!"
"And what exactly do my facial expressions look like?"
Then they started doing dying noises while making awful faces.
"Ha. Ha. very funny guys." Jess was not amused.
Carrie grinned,"Oh, come on! You look like you swallowed a lemon and started choking on it!"
"Dramatic much?"
Then they all started laughing. Austin WAS an EXTREME flirt, but Jess figured that as long as she stuck close to her friends, then he would be at least a little more bearable. Maybe...
