Unique Geek: Chapter 14

 Taylor was standing outside waiting for her boyfriend. He finally pulled up in his car. "There you are!" she exclaimed with slight agitation,"I was starting to get worried! Where have you been?"
 "I was caught in some traffic. No biggie, babe!"
 Taylor could be a bit clingy at times, but she was OK. She hopped into his car and left the school parking lot in a hurry. If they were going to hang out and get smoothies all before th huge Halloween party, they needed to hurry up.

 Zeke nervously walked up to Kathryn's front porch. After a few moments of hesitation, he swallowed his anxiety that was growing, and rang the door bell. He patiently waited, and sure enough, her mom opened the door.

 "Hello." she smiled.

Unique Geek: Chapter 13

 Jess and Justin were talking when the teacher told them all to settle down. "I have someone to introduce to you all today." She waved her hand to a boy with brown hair and freckles to step forward. "This is Alex Harbron. He is a transfer student form England, so please welcome him." He smiled at everyone, then sat down right beside Jess.
 He smiled at her,"Hi, I know the teacher just said it, but I'm Alex."
 "Hi, I'm Jessica." she smiled at his cute British accent.
 He was still smiling,"Well, I hope we can be good friends."
 "Yeah." she agreed.
 Justin, who sat behind Jess and heard the whole conversation, glared at the boy the whole time class was in session.

Unique Geek: Chapter 12

Austin was sitting outside of the school listening to music. He was wondering what to do to get Jess to like him. He just didn't understand why she wasn't already deeply in love with him! Then, he saw her walk by with Justin and Caroline. So obviously, he ran to her. "Hey, Beautiful!" he said and winked at Jess.
 She sighed deeply. He was so annoying! "Hi, Austin."
 "Why are you being so formal? You can call me by my nickname."
 "And what would that be?"
 He grinned mischievously,"For you, Babe."
 "Yeah I'm not calling you that..." she said with a look of annoyance.
 "What? Why!"
 "Because you are NOT my 'babe'." she growled as she pushed past him.
 "Well, maybe I should call YOU feisty!" he replied nonchalantly with a good-humored smile.
 She rolled her eyes and went to class with her friends. "Gosh, he is so annoying!"
 "Yeah really." Justin agreed.
 Caroline merely grinned.

Unique Geek: Chapter 11

 Jessica was laying on her bed trying to finish up her last bit of homework when her phone rang. "Hello?"
 "Hey, Unique Geek!"
 She smiled to herself, "Is this Justin?"
 "Pffffff! Who else?"
 "Oh, I don't know."
 "So, I heard from Carrie that you're moving."
 "What?! UGH. That little blabber mouth!"
 "Calm down! She just got CARRIEd away in the conversation."
 She couldn't help but laugh a little and then she sighed,"Yes, I am moving."
 "Where to?"
 "You know my church?"
 "Porch Light Baptist?"
 "Yeah. We're moving to the parsonage beside it."
 "Oh."
 "Yeah."
 "So are you still gonna be going to school?"
 "Yeah, that's the one good thing. I'm not transferring." She felt herself smile. He was being super sweet to be so concerned.

Unique Geek: Chapter 10

 Jess sat at her desk trying to get her last bit of homework done before her mom told her that it was almost time for the bus to get there, so she'd better hurry up. She had been up all night texting Alice, trying to give her advice with her boy troubles. But the goodness to honest truth, is that she'd sick of talking about boys! She wished that Taylor and Alice were better friends, because they could just cry about their boy troubles together. She sighed, she just remembered that she was supposed to stay after school today.

 Jess ran into school and finally got to the lockers. She saw Zeke leaning on a locker reading and listening to music.
 "Hi, Zeke!"
 "Oh, hey Jess." he smiled at her,"Are you still staying after school?"
 "Yeah. Oh! I totally forgot that you were too!"
 He smiled and laughed. He always had a shy personality. Although he wasn't shy with her, he just didn't like talking much,"Yeah. If you want, I can walk you there."
 Oh Zeke! He's always so nice."OK! I'll totally take you up on that offer."
 "Cool." he smiled at her, but then Kathryn, a girl from their class, walked up to her locker (which is only two lockers down from Zeke) got her books out then walked off. He watched her leave then turned his attention back to Jess,"Sorry, I get distracted sometimes."

Unique Geek: Chapter 9

 "You're MOVING?!" Carrie burst.
 "Yeah, Dad says that it's a good thing, so I guess it is."
 "I can't believe this!"
 "Me neither! But, the house is actually pretty nice. It's got a upstairs and downstairs, and a really big yard, and it really is a good place for biking, or playing at the swing set."
 "But you guys have lived at your house for almost your entire life!"
 "I know! But it's not like I can change anything. We're moving, and that's that!"
 "This is just... I can't... What am I supposed to do without you?!"
 Jess started laughing,"Carrie, I'm moving houses, not states! I will still go to the same school!"
 "PHEW! You had me worried there! So we will still see each other?"
 "Yes! It's all gonna be fine."
 "OK. I-" She heard Carrie's mom yell supper time,"gotta go. See you tomorrow?"
 "Yeah, bye!"
 "Bye!"

Unique Geek: Chapter 8

 Jess lay in bed not wanting to get up just to start another crummy school day. Her mom FINALLY pried her out of bed and got her downstairs to eat breakfast. She just made it to the bus stop when she ran into Jordon, the head cheerleader.
 "Watch were you're going, geek!"
 "Sorry, Jordon."
 She got really close to her and with a menacing glare replied,"You should be." Jess gathered her books then quickly sat down beside Justin.
 He smiled at her,"You know, if magic ever was real, remind me to turn her into a toad!"
 She laughed, he always knew what to say,"I hate it when she calls me a geek!"
 "You shouldn't."
 "Why?"
 "Because, that's just what she wants!" She sighed and looked down. He smiled at her and said,"Here's your new nickname." She grinned, already amused at all the many things he could have dreamed up. "Unique Geek!"
 "Unique Geek?"
 "Yeah! You like?"
 She thought a moment then nodded her head,"I like."
 "Let's take a picture to commemorate the moment!"

She saved the picture to her phone then labeled it as "Unique Geek".

Unique Geek: Chapter 7

 Jess was at her locker getting her lunch bag for lunch (because she did NOT trust that cafeteria food...) when a guy came up. He put his elbow on the locker beside hers, and said,"Hey sweets. How's it going?"
 Jess sighed and put on an extremely fake smile,"Hi, Austin. It's going great, thanks for asking." Why does he have to be all creepy stalker all the time?!
 "I was wondering if you wanted to have lunch together."
 "I'm sorry Austin, but I'm sitting with my friends. Maybe later." She said as she pushed past him trying to escape.
 "Oh, that's to bad, 'cause I had this really hilarious joke I wanted to tell you and-"
 "Well maybe some other time. Bye Austin." She walked down the hall and outside the whole time thinking Please don't follow me. Please don't follow me. Please don't follow me... She tried to calmly walk over to Alice and Carrie. They always sat with their backs against a brick wall.
 "Hey guys." She said to them.
 "Well you sound like you're in a sour mood! What happened?" Alice asked.
 "It's just Austin."
 Carrie and Alice looked at each other and giggled.
 "What?!"

Unique Geek: Chapter 6

 Jess sat at her desk in Art class, and she was excited. She LOVED art! The teacher, Mrs. Smith, said for everyone to draw a self portrait. She didn't want to draw herself, but at least it was drawing. After she was done, she handed it in to the teacher. She felt nervous about it because she thought it was a bad drawing, but it was the best that she could do. Plus, Art was over. She had just finished in time. Once outside, she smiled at the gray clouds. Justin came up and said,"Hey, Jess!"
 "Hi, Justin!"
 "How'd you do in Art?"
 "Oh... You know. I'm probably gonna fail or get kicked out one, because I drew yet another crummy drawing."
 "Bet you $50 you're lying!"
 "Well I'm sad to say, or maybe I'm happy to say, you owe me $50!"
 "Ha. Ha. Ha. I seriously doubt it's bad. Oh! Here comes Car, we'll ask her!"
 "Hey guys! What are you talking about?"
 Before Justin could say anything, Jess replied,"Justin owes me $50!"
 "Nuh-uh!" He argued with her.
 "Yeah-huh!"
 "Nu-"

Unique Geek: Chapter 5

 Jess was at her locker at school and was about to start walking to Language Arts when Justin came up to her.
 "Hey, Jess."
 "Hey Justin." She replied smiling.
 Carrie butted in and said, "Hey Justin!"
 Justin grinned and said,"Hey Car!"
 Carrie glared at him. She HATED the nickname he had given her when they met. It was revolting to her.
 "When will you grow up and quit calling me CAR?! I mean, seriously! A CAR is something that you drive! It's NOT a person!"
 "OK, Car!"
 "UGH!" Then to avoid a punch on the arm he ran off laughing. "HEY! You get back here!!!"
 "Let it go, Carrie. He's just trying to mess with you!" Jess assured her bestie.
 "UGH! I wonder when he WILL grow up and quit calling me Car!"
 "Well, it makes him happy, just except it! I know I have. Here, if it makes it any better, he calls me Fat head!"
 *sigh* "No. It doesn't."
 "Well... I KNOW!"
 "What?"
 "What will make you feel better."
 "What?"
 In a low whisper she said, "Car."
 "AAAUURRRGGGHHH!!"
 Jess started running," Catch ya later, Car!!!"
 "COMEBACK HERE YOU LITTLE.... FAT HEAD!!!!!!!!"

Unique Geek: Chapter 4

  Jess was at her locker when Justin came up, and gave her a letter. She grinned and took it. They exchanged letters a lot. They would write them in class, and give them to each other at locker breaks or at lunch time. It was folded, and it said SHUT YOUR FACE on the front. When she turned it around, it said 'to: fat head from: Cheese-puff. She opened it:
 Hey, i love high school but if I had the option to stay home... I'd stay home. I got a lot taller I got up to 5"8" It's so awesome!..... so bored.
 Jessica wrote back: Doing homework. Wow! you have extremely good handwriting
(Justin was always trying to write like her.)
 He wrote: oohh! Ima try to sign my name like you did when Im done writing.
 She wrote: Dog's life don't come back on till feb. 6th.
 He replied: I know it stinks and get this > Mrs. Johnson my english teacher is obsessed with dog's life just like me she gave me a Dog's life calander.

Unique Geek: Chapter 2

 Jess heard yelling, and then she heard a crash, and then she felt a sharp pain on her side.
 "JEEEEESSSSSY!!!!!!!!!!! SORA IS COMING OVER TODAY! GET UP! GET UP! GET UPPPP!!!!!!" Liz was jumping on her side and trying to shake her awake. "You HAVE to help me get ready!!!!!!!! You just gotta- JESSY! QUIT FALLING ASLEEP!!!!!!"
 "OK! I'm up! I'm up! And 'Sora's' name is Beth. PLEASE call her that!"
 "Finally!!!!! And no. It's her nick name!"
 "But it has absolutely NOTHING to do with her REAL name!!!!"
 "So?!"
 Jess sighed knowing that Liz wouldn't quit until she got the last word, so she just dropped the subject. Besides, they argue about it all the time, she was sure that they'd have another argument about it soon. Liz pulled/dragged Jess out of bed while talking. And talking. And talking....
 "Just let me eat breakfast first! OK?"
 First Liz did the puppy eyes and then she stopped when she realized that Jess was not moving. She sighed and said in one of her saddest tones, "Ok."   Jess smiled and promised her that she'd help her get ready later. That finally satisfied her and so she left Jess alone. Jess was pretty happy that it was Saturday. The only bad thing, is that in her house, it was almost always a work-day. As soon as she got out a biscuit from the fridge to heat up, her mom came in with a basket full of laundry.

Unique Geek: Chapter 1

 "JESSICA! IF YOU AREN'T OUT OF BED IN 5 MINUTES, I AM GOING UP THERE!"
 Ugh. I wonder what cruel monster invented school. She thought as she lay there. She got out of her nice, warm orange bed spread. She was excited when she first got it because it was bright orange on one side and pink on the other side. (She always kept it on the orange side though, unless it was Valentines Day.) She yawned then stretched. She could already hear the rain outside. Another beautiful day spent at school. she thought to herself. Jessica was an odd type of girl. She was 15, and medium height. Her favorite type of days were when it was freezing outside and raining. She was a total bookworm and would sit on the porch and read a good book while it was pouring. She had hazel eyes, and claimed that one was bigger than the other. (Which might or might not have been true.) She dragged herself across the room and grabbed a shirt out of the closet. Jessica had long brown hair and a sweet smile that made others smile as well. Her favorite color was lime green, and pretty much any other bright color. Her room was full of splashes of color everywhere and that's exactly how she liked it.
 "ARE YOU OUT OF BED, YOUNG LADY!?"
 "YES! I'LL BE DOWN IN A MINUTE!!" she yelled.
